Not to be taken too seriously but it didn't fail to disappoint. An average 5.
Was very anti-climatic. Although I wasn't expecting much, it was pretty uneventful.
Incredible
Perhaps Miyazaki's best piece!
I wasn't expecting to be so enticed by the movie, although it's quickly become one of my favourites.
This is a must see, especially if you're a fan of Miyazaki or just anime in general.
Fantastic story line, fantastic character development. 10/10.
Standard
I look around for movies to watch in the background while I'm gaming so I didn't have high expectations of Detention. It made me laugh on several occasions and it's decent if you're just wanting to 'watch something', that kind of 'meh' mood.
Mediocre
I can see the inspiration for the Saw movies in Cube. From the beginning Maurice Dean Wint was bothering me, I didn't enjoy his acting and it wasn't convincing at all. I'm not often one to pick up on acting, I usually just get along with it but I felt as if Maurice and the other cast were just reading a script.
By no means was I expecting much from this movie due to me hearing nothing of it. Only 15-20 minutes in, I was already laughing and it continued to the very end. Brilliant flip on the whole horror murder genre. 8/10.
Didn't tickle my fancy
I'm a fan of a good butcher film but this didn't meet my tastes whatsoever. I would only give a 3* but still worth a watch if theirs nothing else.
With Nobody at Bedroom
I'd seen this movie a few years ago, and it's still a good watch today. Will Ferrell, do I need to say more? Hilarious performance.
Fancied a comedy.
With Nobody at Bedroom
For a Jim Carey movie I wasn't going to take this very seriously, due to him acting mainly in comedy films, although I did give it a try and loved it. Filled with suspense all the way through, love the flashback referencing, and now I can't stop thinking of 23!
Fancied a serious film.
I love the American Pie series, definitely one of my favourites to kickstart it all off.
With Ex-Girlfriend at Cinema
I took my ex girlfriend to see this after the release date. Being a fan of James in Pineapple Express, etc I fancied something a little different, was an amazing watch, kept me in suspense all the way through and I'm absolutely petrified of amputations. Was a very inspiring movie, went on to do a bunch of research on the original story afterwards. Great watch.
Fancied a movie.
With Friends at Cinema
Fantastic watch, would recommend to anyone.
Anticipated this movie.
With Cousin at Cinema
One of the best movies I've seen in a very long time, always been a fan of the Batman series. Outstanding performance by Heath Ledger.
Was a fan.
