I can see the inspiration for the Saw movies in Cube. From the beginning Maurice Dean Wint was bothering me, I didn't enjoy his acting and it wasn't convincing at all. I'm not often one to pick up on acting, I usually just get along with it but I felt as if Maurice and the other cast were just reading a script.
