Tangled is everything you would expect from a Disney movie: a classic story with colorful characters, vibrant visuals and brilliant music. The 3D effects used in the movie add a nice sense of depth - nothing spectacular, but definitely a nice finishing touch on an otherwise fantastic movie that is sure to provide a good time for those that enjoy Disney's classic style. Would, and will watch this one again.

The Avatar-hype has been living a life of its own ever since the movie first hit the theaters - and for a good reason. The movie is visually stunning. The world of Pandora featured breathtaking views and beautiful scenery, and blend of CGI with real life was just about seamless. The story, which has been the major source of criticism, wasn't on par with the visuals, but the world inhabited by the Na'vi was in all ways a fascinating and a beautiful creation - worthy of much praise. If I could only see this in a theater in 3D...

Some movies are golden; you could watch them over and over again. Other movies are a good time, but you wouldn't want to sacrifice the time to watch them again. This is a movie I wish I wouldn't have sacrificed the time to watch in the first place. Quite mediocre on all accounts.
I'm glad I had my Samsung Galaxy S to keep me entertained on the living room couch, because the movie certainly failed to do so!

What a good time this was. Definitely lacks the depth Up had to it, but does not fail in putting a smile on your face. Definitely worth the watch, at least once.
Great experience, lots of laughing guaranteed. I personally liked this one better than Toy Story 3, although both of them are on fairly equal grounds when it really comes down to the final score. Thumbs up!

Now that Toy Story officially became a trilogy, the expectations and hype for part 3 were inevitably on quite a grand scale. The movie did not fail to deliver, although ended up doing it in a slightly unexpected way. Gone are the days of magical childhood (love the first scene though!) and reality sets in with a surprisingly dark tone throughout the entire movie. Don't get me wrong - it's still a great one for kids to watch.
The movie itself ended up being quite surprising in some ways, but you've got to love the latest and greatest achievements in animation displayed in big, clear and crisp HD. Beautiful.

Iron Man 2 was a much-expected sequel to the highly entertaining part one of this currently unfinished series of adventures of Tony Stark. I had high expectations due to the great quality of the first one, and although Iron Man 2 did not quite live up to the quality standards set by its predecessor, the movie was still a solid performer and quite entertaining.
Watching Iron Man zoom from place to place was an experience since while doing it, I was flying above the Atlantic ocean; from Calgary, Canada to London, England. The rumbling of the engines and the small LCD didn't provide for the best viewing experience, but hey, it's all good.

Having seen the first Hulk, I really wanted to see this because of the fancy trailer with cool visuals. And there was plenty! The plot was what it was, something you could expect. Not half bad, but not a masterpiece either. The Incredible Hulk was indeed a turn for the better, seeing that the first movie wasn't exactly a cinematographic masterpiece - and I always do like superhero movies!

A decent idea, a couple of good laughs and a mediocre cast... Not too much to say about this one. Never cared too much for running myself, heh.

Dan in Real Life was indeed what I expected it to be. Not exactly very good, but not that bad at all. It had its moments - good ones too - but the whole picture remained a little... dull.

The second I heard that this was the work of Andy Tennant - the director of Hitch - my expectations skyrocketed. Maybe not such a good thing. Fool's Gold was pretty good. It had a lot of funny moments, but it didn't really impress like Hitch did, and still does. I like Matthew McConaughey, and he does a steady, good job as usual. Other than that, the rest of the cast was as usual - not especially impressive, nor very bad either. Alexis Dziena was one lively young woman though! Heh.

Visually impressive, 10,000 BC lacked a little in originality. We've all seen the "save the damsel in distress an rescue your people"-story before, dozens of times, so other than the eyecandy it had, this film just got slightly boring every now and then. Not bad, but not excellent either.

The trailer was a little better than the whole movie actually was, but all in all, not too shabby.

Probably like the 4th time I saw this one. It's decent, seeing that I had nothing better to do at the time.

Oh man, Zohan is finally here. I saw the trailer for the movie during the late spring, and it was indeed very promising. And indeed, Zohan was what I expected it to be. Nice!

Surprisingly good, actually. I mean, I've never been that much into Jack Nicholson, even though I do see him as a fine performing artist. On the other hand, Morgan Freeman is one of my favorite actors. So the combination was an interesting one. I think they found the right roles for both of them; and even if this may be seen as a fairly lighthearted movie and nothing on the really heavy Hollywood side, I liked it.

A nice thriller with moderately surprising twists and turns, this was pretty fun to watch, even though I might not go for a second round.

This was surprisingly fun. I mean, I was laughing out loud numerous times during the movie! Smooth animation, Great voice acting, swell jokes. I really liked Kung Fu Panda.

Probably the third time I've seen this movie, and after watching The Dark Knight, it was actually better than before. Not that it was bad before, Batman Begins is in a way equal to the Dark Knight, even though the latter one boasts more impressive features on multiple areas. Definitely a pleasure watching.

The most expected movie of the summer, the superhero movie of the year, and The sequel for a great beginning of the story of Batman. Dark Knight was definitely riding the wave of hype, but was it actually worth all of it? Now 9 out of 10 people having seen the movie told me that it actually is, and you know what? I think I agree. It was great. Yet, I'm not going to give it a 10-star rating, at least not yet. Boasting an impressive 2½ hrs in length, I feel this movie requires a second look before I can truly say what I have to say about it. For now, the best movie of the year so far will suffice. Review coming after the second watch, stay tuned.

Well... Even if (and actually, especially because) it WAS Jet Li and Jackie Chan in a single movie, this wasn't what I expected it to be. Naturally, there were some cool fighting scenes and nice visuals, but other than that, this was mediocre and hence not really worth another watch. Love either of these gentlemen? Watch it. If you don't, probably not worth your time.

Sat down in front of the tv, had just finished "We are marshall", and noticed that this was on. Naturally, I stayed to watch it; The Butterfly Effect is a good movie.

A surprisingly good sports movie. And by surprisingly good, I'm not talking about a movie that I thought would be a three-star movie and that turned out to be a five-star one; I'm talking about a really good film here. Haven't seen it? Go do it.

Had been waiting for this for a long while, and having it finally here, I enjoyed it a lot. Not quite as good as it could've been, but very entertaining all the same.
