Marshall Scores
We Are Mashall was the first movie I chose to watch thanks to FilmGator, and I wasn't disappointed.
Matthew McConaughey's (coach) performance was what kept me focused, I found myself waiting for his next move ever since his character was introduced. I especially enjoyed the interplay between him and David Strathairn (University president).
We Are Mashall emphasizes the importance of attitude in times of adversity. The community of Marshall exemplifies how to cope, while Ian McShane plays the unthankful yet important role of a father of one of the plane crash victims who let's himself become a victim of bitterness.
Good acting, a touching true story behind the movie and the nice music that filled my living room for the 2 hours sure left me feeling good. This one's watchable in any company, and a must see for all sports and/or 70's fans out there.

Splendid Movie Making
We Are Marshall tells a story about the fate of a football team of Marshall University (Huntington, West Virginia) after most of the team was killed in a place crash.
The movie is good but I can’t help thinking that they made this movie already 6 years earlier, and they made it even better. I am talking about Remember the Titans. I am not sure whether it would be even possible to surpass Titans with exactly the same formula. Luckily, even though there are many similarities between the movies they are not the same. We Are Marshall offers a different setting and a different story. Even though, in my opinion, Remember the Titans is a better movie about the 70s football team you shouldn’t overlook this one either.
Matthew McConaughey portrays a team’s head coach. He is a very good choice for this kind of role. However, the character he is portraying is a little too goofy for my taste. Then there is Matthew Fox who proves that he can do so much more than what he does in Lost. These two coaches have totally different personalities but their love for the game makes them work seamlessly together. Their acting in this setting is brilliant to watch. Last and perhaps the best performance I want to comment is by David Strathairn who is simply excellent as the humble president of the University. We Are Marshall is a diligently crafted and at times emotional movie that will make you feel good.

Would watch again anytime!
It's been a while since I've watched two movies in a row. After watching War I was kinda in a mood for more action. I'm very glad that I switched genre and end up watching We Are Marshall.
The movie is based on a true story and We Are Marshall delivers it very well to the watcher. Story goes forward fluently and is enjoyable to watch. Like ali already mentioned, the movie is emotional at times. It contains generally good acting and I think Matthew McConaughey did an excellent job. Also the screenplay and the music synchronized gives a watcher memorable experience.
We Are Marshall reminded me a lot of Remember The Titans. While sharing the same theme these two movies are still very different. I enjoyed a lot watching this movie. Correct if i'm wrong, but I don't remember this one being shown in theaters in Finland. If it was, I've missed a gem. I could watch it again anytime and probably will sometime soon.

Pretty good movie.
Well done movie. Explained the story pretty well without dragging the story for too long.
I think even people that do not like sports movies would enjoy this movie.
It could be pretty emotional at times.
