Five years after jilting his pregnant fiancée on their wedding day, out-of-shape Dennis decides to run a marathon to win her back.
I'd Rather Walk
In these days of more movies than time to watch them, there aren't many comedies on my timeline. It's just not my favourite genre.
Why did I start watching this one then? I wish I knew. More than that, however, I wish I hadn't. The humor was just afwul and inconsistent: a few times it was so bad I just couldn't help laughing (Dennis' blister, Whit powdering himself after spin class to name a few - those of you who have seen it know what I'm talking about :D), but most of the time I just didn't find it amusing at all. I didn't finish it, stopped after an hour or so.
The best thing about the movie was that it made me think about some friends of mine who are into marathon - respect!
And yes, there are comedies I like. Meet the Parents for example :D.
