Getting pregnant is not always easy

I did not like "nousukausi", but I'll have to say that Tiina Lymi and Nicke Lignell are really great together. Especially in this one. This film is very touching. It will make you laugh and it will make you cry. Especially Tiina Lymi's performance was outstanding. She makes the character of Paula very tangible and easy to relate to. Especially if one has experienced infertility to any extent. I found Anna-Leena Härkönen's script also very witty and to the point. I'll recommend this to anyone with or without infertility problems.

I didn't really expect anything really from this movie. I still wanted to watch it, but thought that it would be pretty much the average romantic comedie. However, I was surprised to find out that this was actually a pretty good one. Although the story is kinda sad, it'll still make you laugh more than cry. The acting is great and the casting is good. It's very easy to like this one.

I know this film is a classic and since it's a Kubrick film it can't be anything else. Somehow it wasn't as impressive as the other Kubrick films I've seen and he's definitely made a lot better ones. Truly a masterpiece!

Stanley Kubrick sure knows how to make awesome films! It's been a long time since I saw this first time and like with all Kubricks films, one time just isn't enough. He knows how to create a good thriller with very simple technique. And he proves that you don't need a huge number of casualties to make a good horror story.

It's to die for

This was very funny and even touching film. I love Tim Burtons twisted and dark sense of humour. Cinematically this was also awesome work! You'd think that with digital technology nobody would bother to do stop-motion-animation films, but you better think again. They really did a splendid job with this one. Definitely worth the watch.

I had read the previous reviews here on filmgator plus some other reviews and had heard nothing but praising comments about this film. So naturally I walked to the cinema loaded with very high expectations. I'm not even exactly sure what I was expecting, but I was tad disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I liked it, the visual effects were great and the acting too and it was definitely worth paying 8 euros for, but for some reason I was expecting for something more.

After the movie I had to check the rating, because I was convinced it had to be a kids' movie. The rating (in Finland) was 11 so I guess it is a kids movie. Indiana Jones films in my book go together with James Bond films. They're ment for the boys. This one was full of cliches typical for Indies and Bonds. Very good!

It's very easy to like this film. Edward Norton is such a fantastic actor and doesn't disappoint you in this one either. The story is quite good and although the ending is easy to guess it doesn't really matter in this film. I would have hated it to end in any other way. Very easy to watch, a great choice for a good relaxing evening in good company.

This is the second part of Lars von Trier's trilogy USA - Land of Opportunities. I saw the first part "Dogville" few years ago and was very impressed. The film was like no other I had ever seen before. Very unique concept and Manderlay was made with that same concept.

But who says you can't add some sense of humour in it too? This film is just fantastic! What more can I say. With kids' animations I try to think about the suitability for children too, since they're the main target and this film definitely is so much fun for the kids too even though they always have to include some grown-up jokes too. Jim Carrey proves once again, what a marvellous actor he is. He is just outstanding in this film! Although he is known for his crazy comedies he's done quite a few serious roles too. Now this film is definitely not serious but contains no dumb and dumber toilet humour. Great entertainment!

I'm not a huge fan of chick flicks, but this one was actually a good one! My husband liked it too, although he didn't get all the points that Brooke (Aniston) was trying to make in this film. What a typical guy! I think this film illustrated in a tragic and at the same time humorous way how misunderstandings can accumulate and cause a lot of trouble. I'm sure some of us could sum up our marital problems in two words after watching this film: three lemons!

Yes, I have yet to see a bad performance from Bruce. He's just as good in any kind of films, he can do comedies, drama, action....you name it! This film was absolutely awesome! And it's not even a traditional chick flick. My husband liked it too. I think it was a nice story of how relationships can be difficult sometimes. I recommend it to ALL couples, especially!

Not really my favourite animation. I think it was made more for the grown ups than the kids. The language didn't impress me and I didn't think it was suitable for a kids movie. Sure, some of the jokes and the characters were quite funny, but the plot wasn't very good. Probably the best part of the movie was the song "I like to move it" which made almost the whole family dance.

With Stanley Kubrick you can count on it to be a film worth of watching. A great film from a great director and a great actress (not a big fan of Tom Cruise, though). It keeps you captivated throughout the film. The music is great, too. A bit too much sex and nudity to my taste, but would still watch it again.
