To Save a Life
It's complicated. I read the synopsis and wanted to see it. What the synopsis failed to mention was how churchy it would be. I knew it was churchy because of the theaters it was showing at. I also didn't care if it were. I liked it. I don't like churcy things but the subject matter was something I was interested in. I really, really liked how they handled the suicide letter. It was fantasticly done. It was far more emotional than just ...

The Book of Eli
It was over 2 hours and I don't usually like 2+ hour films. I find them to lose steam. I actually like this film far more than I had anticipated. It was quick with the action and slow with the conversation. It worked. The location was so desolate that it was amazing what frame could make beautiful....there were a lot of amazing shots. The fight that the trailer shows the beginning of with Eli stating he won't get that hand back...was perfectly shot. The acting ...

Avatar
The visuals were amazing, fantastic. It was creatively innovative and awe-inspiring. The story was good, the acting was good, the directing (of course) was very good. It was one of those movies that did everything it needed to do to become a hit. I did not like how long it was and I also did not like the title song. I will not see it again in one setting. I think for a great film the posters SUCK....but James C. should be very pleased with ...

Sicko
Pretentious Micheal Moore...proof that he is is that scene where he has to use a megaphone to speak from the boat. He couldn't save anyone if it didn't have money attached to it. If he gave away viewings of the movies he created via his own money then I could see how he cared. But getting millions and using the heath care he complains about as terrible....he has enough money to go elsewhere to get better health care. I just don't like people who say things are better ...

Daybreakers
I was wondering what happened to Ethan Hawke...and look he's in a good movie about vampires that totally slaughters any in Twilight. I like zombie movies far more than werewolf and vampire movies.
I thought Daybreakers was pretty darn good. Aside from it being loud and very gory (at times) it was good. I liked the ending though I had figured it out. I think that it almost speaks on a ...
