Daybreakers
Vampires are the majority with an endangered human population; Hawke plays the vampire with a soft spot for humans. Nothing special or original, but well executed and fun to watch; some of the scenes are gratuitously bloody and violent.

I was wondering what happened to Ethan Hawke...and look he's in a good movie about vampires that totally slaughters any in Twilight. I like zombie movies far more than werewolf and vampire movies.
I thought Daybreakers was pretty darn good. Aside from it being loud and very gory (at times) it was good. I liked the ending though I had figured it out. I think that it almost speaks on a higher level than just a simple movie about vampires. I also like how vampires turned into (what looked like to me) zombie like vampires. That was neat.
It was a fun movie and if you really like vampires and not sparkly girly vampires then this will please you.
