This was supposed to be a comedy?
I found myself watching this in a theater and after the movie was over I asked myself "why?". The basic idea of The Nanny Diaries is that a young women (Johansson) graduates from high school and has a tough time deciding which College she should be going in. So she decides to quit school for a year and become a nanny...
The only aspect where the movie succeeds in is how well it shows what kind of a job being as a nanny is - in extremity though. I can't recall finding myself laughing more than once if that. That's why I find it very odd that this is categorized as a comedy. Well maybe I'm just too simple minded, but hey I recognize a comedy when I see one!
