"Nonnas may not reinvent the genre or surprise with major twists, but what it lacks in originality, it makes up for with a giant heart and emotional sincerity that resonates far beyond the screen.
Stephen Chbosky guides the story with palpable sensitivity, while the cast fills it with life, humor, and soul. It’s a heartfelt tribute to family, culture, the women who raised us, and the power of food to bring people together and heal old wounds. A love letter to the roots that shape us and the sharing that brings us closer.
A simple dish, crafted with quality ingredients, that leaves a lasting impression."
