Stowaway looks pretty and it has a solid cast in Kendrick, Dae Kim, Collette, and Anderson. Kendrick, Dae Kim, and Collette play a shuttle crew who have just left Earth en route to Mars to research colonization. When they find Anderson unconscious and sealed in an engineering panel, they must decide the next steps to ensure mission success with an unplanned body to accommodate.

Here is one of the main issues with Stowaway. Not only are we scratching our heads at whether or not this could happen at all, the reason he is on board is never really even addressed. It just becomes accepted that he is there and now they have a fourth crew member. Then, if you are able to get past that leap of belief, you are treated to a decent buildup of tension only to be let down by an ending that leaves you asking if that's really it. At least the science apparently is accurate (or at least that's what a quick Google search advised me) and the whole movie looks great. Space movies in general get an extra half point from me just on GP, but you could definitely spend 2 hours of your time watching something better.
