What would you do if you thought your dad was a serial killer? This is the conflict in the Clovehitch Killer, a great setup with Dylan McDermott playing the scout leader father and Charlie Plummer in the role as his conflicted son. Madisen Beatty rounds out the trio of main characters as a classmate of Plummer's who is obsessed with finding out who the killer is.
As stated, it's a fantastic lead that keeps you engrossed all the way through. Unfortunately though, The Clovehitch Killer falters a little bit in closing out the impressive first 80 minutes or so. It leaves viewers feeling a little underwhelmed, but it's still definitely worth a watch for fans of thriller mysteries.
