The Future is Bright
After loving Uncut Gems, I wanted to go back and watch The Safdie Brothers' previous film. While Good Time is well, good, it didn't spark joy like Uncut Gems did. I would say Good Time moves along at a consistent pace. However, you can see moments here and think about Gems. There is an idea hashed out on a white board. While they didn't achieve all of it, the foundation is laid out for future work.
