I Enjoyed It But.....
When a film like Jordan Peele's Get Out is revered as it has been, you have to go into it hoping that you won't be underwhelmed. Was I? No, I wouldn't say that. I don't know if I can say it will make my Top 10 year end list. That's not to say that Get Out isn't good, it is. The political statement will piss off many. However, too bad. It's very clever, funny and the satire has a nice bite to it. I'm really surprised Mr. Peele's movie hasn't garnered more attention with Fox News and the other lovers of President Cheeto. I guess, my issue is the actual "horror" portion of the film. It's a little to corny, for a lack of a better term.
