Review from the comment
Marvel continues to churn out their successful run of films. Deadpool was a huge success and it seemed that audiences fell in love with the very popular anti-hero.
Ryan Reynolds dons the latex of "The Merc With A Mouth," and he is pretty much spot on perfection. As far as the storyline goes, it's simple stuff and there isn't really anything Earth shattering going on.
I loved seeing my favorite mutant, Colossus get a pretty good chunk of screentime. However, it would be nice if filmmakers got his combat down. The gentle Russian giant always seems to get his ass kicked. He can easily handle himself. I don't get it.
The sequel has already been green-lit and I'm sure that it will be just as popular. I guess my only gripe was I got tired of hearing Reynolds chirp wise cracks every 2.5 seconds. It was definitely in character, but I never said I was the biggest Deadpool fan in the world did I?
