Kevin Smith's latest films (Red State, Cop Out, Zack and Miri Make a Porno) haven't exactly lit the world on fire. He still has a rabid fan base, and still continues to make his movies. I think it's pretty easy to say that Tusk will have a lot of people talking. Some positive, some negative.
I found the first 3/4 of the film to be really interesting. The acting is great by Michael Parks and Justin Long. The writing is smooth and interesting. It was very enjoyable stuff. The last 1/4 is, well a trip. It was something I haven't seen before and may not see again for a while. That being stated, Tusk was very enjoyable and I'm curious to see what Yoga Hosers offers.
