Review from the comment
Part I of The Mockingjay is basically a table setting of melodrama that will set up the inevitable clash between the Capital and the remaining Districts, which are being led by Katniss and District 12.
Following the destruction of the Games by Katniss, she begrudgingly becomes the face of the Districts and their battle against President Snow and the Capital. It's something she simply feels she can't do due to what you could call PTSD or anxiety. When Katniss and the rebellion make a move, District 1 counters. This goes back and forth, a dystopian cat and mouse game if you will, until the credits roll. The sequel, and finale of The Hunger Games will be released next November.
I felt that Mockingjay was the weakest so far of the movies. There was just far too much sappy filler that didn't work and was ultimately ineffective. I hope next years film delivers the goods. Otherwise, there are going to be a lot of upset fans of these books and the way Hollywood interpreted them.
