Nick and Amy Dunne are the perfect couple. Successful, good looking, they have everything. However, soon things unravel and Amy goes missing. Nick becomes the prime suspect. Did he do it? Oh what a twisted web David Fincher weaves. Gone Girl is full of excellent acting from top to bottom. Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Carrie Coon, Kim Dickens and Tyler Perry. They get the meaty portions of the screentime. It should be pointed out that that the females, in my opinion are excellent in this film. Rock solid stuff here people. Having not read the book, I enjoyed the film quite a bit.
