An absolute total and complete waste of time. Eli Roth misses the mark by a mile in his attempt to re-create the cannibal-horror films of the late 70's and 80's.
Originally, The Green Inferno was shelved because of extensive violence, gore and a NC-17 rating. It was then trimmed slightly so it could be released. I have to say, I don't even know what the big hubbub is about. I have seen far more violent movies and don't understand the big deal. I got sucked into seeing this and it was a mistake. You really can't say much more. The Green Inferno sucks.
