An adaptation of the Dr Seuss classic, The Lorax deals with the Once-ler and his decision to destroy the environment for financial gain. In an effort to win the heart of a girl, a young boy is given the last remaining Truffala Tree Seed, to bring them back from near oblivion. Director Chris Renaud's follow up from his superb 2010 Despicable Me is a major disappointment. It's filled with too much sappiness and cliches. Do yourself a favor, stay home and pop in the Despicable Me Blu-Ray. It's far more clever and worthy of your time.
