An investigative and powerfully emotional documentary about the epidemic of rape of soldiers within the US military, the institutions that perpetuate and cover up its existence, and its profound personal and social consequences.

Simply put, The Invisible War is an utterly disturbing look of rampant sexual assault that continues to rear its ugly face in the United States military. This documentary shows women and men who have been violated and have had their lives destroyed. The country they have sworn to protect betrayed them by refusing to acknowledge their reports or simply saying they had it coming to them. It really is disgusting to think that this rampant and continual cycle of violence is allowed to continue. Many of the times, the perpetrator is allowed to roam free and in some cases promoted or received individual accolades. The Invisible War is a must watch film. It proves once again, that the government will protect its own and rid itself of problematic situations.
