How the ratings for this are so high is beyond me. The action scenes are decent but the characters are largely exaggerated and ridiculous creations more fit for a cartoon than a serious thriller. There is a pair of deaf criminals who really are an insult to true life deaf people. There is a police officer who behaves in unbelievable fashion after circumstances force him to sniff a little bit of coke. And the list goes on. The saving grace for Drug War is ita pacing. Outside of that, what a big letdown for me after the world hyped it up so much.
