Review from the comment
A Korean gambling addict separated from his wife is living in China and up to his eyeballs in debt with loan sharks. In a desperate effort to settle what he owes and track down his wife, he takes a contract to kill a businessman. Before he is able to complete the hit, events transpire that muddle the job and send him on the run from the police and both Chinese and Korean gangsters. The Yellow Sea is a firecracker of a movie. Wait, it actually is like a book of firecrackers of a movie. There are long fuses of tension in between explosive chase scenes as the addict stays on the move from his pursuers. Director Na Hong-jin has followed up his excellent 2008 debut The Chaser with another 100 miles an hour thrill ride which leaves me hungry for what he puts out next.
