Schizophrenic much?
I always thought that Sam Rockwell was one of the most underrated actors in Hollywood.
I loved his portrayal of Wild Bill Wharton, the cuckoos jailbird in Green Mile, and solid work in Confessions of a Dangerous mind.
Destined to be the 'sideshow bob' it seemed, but finally Moon showcases the talent that Rockwell has, a screen presence to carry out a whole film.. Even if it's with numerable other selves.. huh, telling too much??..
Eerie voice of Kevin Spacey as the computer voice GERTY is just perfect for the atmosphere and comps well with the slowly degrading mental sanity of Sam Rockwells 'Sam Bell' character.
At times it was maybe too slow or made me a bit perplexed by what was happening, but in the end it came to together nicely.
Nice little movie that hopefully will get the recognition it deserves.
