Yes, Jim Carrey!
I really didn't know what to expect of Yes Man. I liked the trailer but I also thought that maybe they put all the good stuff in it. I am glad to say that it wasn't the case. Yes Man was more than just a good trailer. I laughed a lot. Jim Carrey's overacting wasn't a problem at all. He did well.
I like Jim Carrey. I am seriously thinking of adding this film with other Carrey classics, like Ace Ventura, Liar Liar and Bruce Almighty. It was so entertaining.
Carl Allen (Jim Carrey) is this quite negative person, who doesn't want to do anything. His life seems to go downhill all the time. He is trying to alienate all his friends. Then, one day he meets his old friend who introduces Carl into this 'say yes to everything'. Well, of course Carl decides to go there and that changes his life. So many funny things and moments follows. His friends Peter (Bradley Cooper) and Rooney (Danny Masterson) even uses Carl. Carl meets Allison (Zooey Deschanel). She is also quite random person. Zooey Deschanel also does a great job. I have seen her in a couple good roles now, and I like her. This movie has a great cast. Bradley Cooper is a good choise as well.
All in all, Yes Man is good entertaining. I could gladly watch this movie again. If you like Jim Carrey, or you thought that Bruce Almighty was ok, you might like this movie. Jim Carrey is back.
