For a horror recommendation on Netflix streaming, this was not that bad of a movie. Wes Bentley basically plays his character from American Beauty, albeit 10 years later. Looking to find his niche as a filmmaker, he becomes obsessed with a serial killer and tracks him down. Instead of turning him in, Bentley persuades the killer to let him film his life story. The two form a fragile bond and the tables keep shifting as the story develops. While the entire basis of the movie is pretty unbelievable, it still makes for a decent watch.
