Nice views and fine powder snow.. that's about it
This documentary is probably directed more towards those extreme-skiing -oriented people - one which I am not.
The theme was decently interesting, scenery and feeling in the skiing sections of the film were understandably awesome, but the rest was just left hanging.. Didn't really appeal to me. It was kind of interesting though to see how this kind of extreme skiing can become an addiction - and bring about the negative effects of any other addictions, namely the utter disregard for other important things in life.

Not What I Expected
One and a half weeks prior to one of every year's highlights, a skiing trip to Åre, Sweden, I thought this would be the perfect way to get into the right mood :D
But it wasn't. I found myself fast-forwarding through substantial parts of this documentary. What I hoped for was an overview of the state of the art in extreme skiing today, with footage done as it is done today. Instead, I got to a history lesson and had to look at, in my opinion, boring clips from way back.
Unless you are dying to hear the history behind the pioneers in extreme skiing, I'd say you'll get better kicks off some other video.
I just wanted some more of this stuff:
