Costing $175 million to make, Evan Almighty is the most expensive comedy ever made. Unfortunately seemed to be a complete waste of time. I believe Steve Carell is one of the funniest men in showbiz, but the movie didn't do him any justice. It's best not to expect a reprise of the successful Bruce Almighty because you will be disappointed.

just another comedy...
well, if you like these kind of silly comedies, this movie might be perfect for you. i am not the biggest fan, so this film wasn't my favourite. something to watch when killing time... it was funny and also reminded that it is important to support your spouse and family. so something good in it! and the monkeys were cute :D.
