Even with some decent acting at times, Ed Gein: The Butcher Of Plainfield unfortunately doesn't quite live up to the famous name. Having read up and watched a lot of footage over the years of Ed Gein, this movie seems to be a little far from the truth in all honesty. Other than that, parts of the film are very gruesome which I know a lot of you like. Not the first movie about the sick life of Ed Gein nor is it one of the best. Kane Hodder does a decent job playing Gein, good to see him out of his Friday The 13th mask which he is most known for playing Jason Voorhees.
