Not A Very Good Film
When three excellent directors are at the helm, it's not too much to think that you are going to be getting a solid piece of work. Unfortunately, Three... Extremes stumbles to something below average.
Fruit Chan, Chan-wook Park, Takashi Miike, three of the best doing it in Asia come together to give us separate snippets of their twisted minds. There are portions that work. However, most of the movie fails to impress.
Each chapter of the movie will bring plenty to talk about around the water cooler. However, Chan's "Dumplings," probably contains the biggest gross out effects. Some might say it's Park's "Cut," others will stand by Mikke's "Box." Regardless of where you are at, the offerings in the trilogy just are not consistent enough to make Three... Extremes one for the Blu-Ray collection.
