A movie honoring Asimov
I, Robot is actually a very good science fiction movie. The film tells a story about a police detective (Smith) who dislike robots even though they are rapidly becoming a common part of the society.
Aside from the plot on the surface of I, Robot, there is a deeper story of humanity running alongside the action packed events of the movie. A story of artificial intelligence, the uniqueness of human emotions. I truly enjoyed both facets of this film. Yet somehow the execution of the film lacks certain credibility. The whole setting for the premises of the movie in the suicide of a known scientist just doesn't seem believable to me. So that's the only negative thing I have to say about this movie. But it's definitely a must see.
