Tick-boxing horror films thats still original
A bit like Night Of The Living Dead....but more scary, and British, and with Warewolves, and soldiers, and a bit of comedy, and no college students! Result!
You can imagine what to expect from the film after the first scene, a guy and a girl in a tent in the woods at night....guess what happens? We then meet our characters, and off we go. Its hyper masculine in a really fun way, to the point where it makes fun of itself. As we know every boys dream is to be trapped in a house with a pile of ammo, axes, swords, bombs, and a can of hairspray, with warewolves running around outside right?...
Its a film thats not ashamed of itself, yea its on a budget and so it will be a shock to discover this will scare the pants off you almost all the way through. Where it doesnt, comedy, good acting and its straightforward narrative flow keeps you hooked. Makes it obvious its tick-boxing the horror genre, but still original.
