Moulin Rouge!
This moive is worth checking out if only for the snerve Baz Luhrmann has for butchering classics from several decades in the name of love. You can hear the songs from everyone from Nirvana to Queen and Madonna in this pastel coloured story about the bohemian life and first and foremost love.
Nicole Kidman sparkles as Satine, the Courtisan of the famous Moulin Rouge and alongside Ewan McGregor sings the tunes with earnest effort without fault.
This movie has divided my friends, some love the way it's done, the flashiness and the colours and the singing and some hate it but it's definitely a movie worth checking out.
