I'm going to get shit for this. When I look back at all the "Classic" new era horror films and break them down: Halloween, Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I can easily say with zero hesitation that TTCM is not a good film. It pales in comparison with the other mentioned ones listed it. I just really find it dumb across the board.
