Pretty Enjoyable
Harry Caul is the best there is at his craft. A master of surveillance, it does not matter to him what the job is, as long the money is right. That all changes when he begins to have some conflicting feelings about a gig he is hired for.
The Conversation is the epitome of a slow burn. There are some moments that are definitely dated by today's standards, but Hackman absolutely crushes this role. I can see why the film has become a cult classic. It's also cool to see a few ex-A list actors here in some small parts. I wasn't expecting that.
