Hans von Arnam travels to a Flemish village to study a strange carousel located in an old windmill that displays famous murderesses and other notorious women from history. Professor Gregorius Wahl, owner of the windmill, warns Hans to stay away from his mysterious daughter Elfi, in order to keep Hans from discovering the horrible secret shared by the Professor and Elfi's Doctor.

A soon to be married young man takes on some work for an art professor at the professor’s secluded island estate. At the estate, the young man finds the professor has a macabre collection of lifelike statues of women, as well as a beautiful daughter who is kept isolated on the estate due to a strange medical condition. When the daughter falls for the young man, events transpire that drive the young man to question his sanity as well as reveal the true nature of the professor. Mill of the Stone Women is not a true horror classic, but it definitely is an interesting watch for fans who can look past dated special effects and shaky dialogue. While tame by today’s standards, I’m sure at its time the plot turns and twists of Mill were pretty impressive. If someone was to remake this, I would be inclined to go check it out.
