It has been awhile since I watched a 70's crime flick, one of my favorite sub-genres. I had never even heard of this one, surprisingly being that Robert Duvall is one of my fave actors.
This was a fun time. Its nowhere near other entries in the era but its a good watch nonetheless. Its pretty much about 100 minutes give or take of Duvall and Joe Don Baker kicking mob ass. And what's not to like about that?

I agree with just about everything VungTauMantis said. However, I feel like the scenes between the two synthetics as well as the general exploration of creationism add enough to a fun enough romp in Scott's esteemed franchise. There are a lot of dumb moments though, things that belong in C list movies from decades ago. However, what can I say? I'm a fan of the setting and in that Scott does not disappoint. Squeaks in for a 7.
