Review from the comment
I keep trying with the Scandinavian thrillers but I haven't comes across one yet I was ecstatic about. The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is the top of the pyramid for me thus far and that isn't saying a lot. The problem I have with The Keeper of Lost Causes is the same issue I have with all the mysteries I have had from this region: They all feel like average Law and Order or CSI episodes. The actors are not bad but the stories are Hollywood and not realistic. Someone wake me when you find one worth talking about.
