Three American brothers who have not spoken to each other in a year set off on a train voyage across India with a plan to find themselves and bond with each other -- to become brothers again like they used to be. Their "spiritual quest", however, veers rapidly off-course (due to events involving over-the-counter pain killers, Indian cough syrup, and pepper spray).

The Darjeeling Limited
I must say I was expecting a lot more out of this movie. But it wasn't all that bad in the end. Interesting male bonding issues here... I don't know about that all Indian environment though. Is India really such a special place for spiritual experiences?

Weird, yet interesting..
The Darjeeling Limited is an eccentric movie about a spiritual journey and about finding true brotherhood.
The movie is weird, yet touching in a special way. It's really hard to describe. The minimalistic humour is also amusing.
It's extremely hard for me to describe this film in depth, so suffice to say that it was an interesting piece.. Can't deny that. The acting was extremely successful in terms of suiting the overall atmosphere of the movie.
The story is about three brothers who begin a spiritual journey somewhere in India(?) and through many experiences succeed in finding themselves or "locating themselves" like the movie puts it.
This was indeed something totally different.
