John McClane is a legend!
This movie is a real classic. I don't remember when I saw it for the first time, or how many times I have seen it, but this I know, I enjoy it more and more everytime I see it. This movie falls into the category of movies that can be watched more than once.
I have to say that I am a big Bruce Willis fan. Although, you will think that Bruce Willis is the perfect choise for the role of John McClane, even if you aren't a fan. He does excellent job. He knows how to play tired and annoyed cop. His sense of humor fits perfectly in the movie.
The movie starts when John McClane arrives to Los Angeles. He meets his wife Holly Gennero (Bonnie Bedelia) in a christmas party at her office building. A group of terrorists, Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) as their leader ruins the party and takes over the building. John McClane won't accept this, so he starts his one-man-mission to save the day. One by one he takes out the terrorists, and drives everybody mad. Even though, this movie was made in 1988, it's phenomenal, full of action and it captures you straight from the beginning. McClane's sarcasm makes you laugh.
There is four Die Hards all together and I think this is definitely the best one. I recommend the rest as well, but this one is part of general education or what ever you want to call it. This is one of my favorite movies. And it is a christmas movie! Trust me and watch it.
