His mentor Krishna Vamsi gave him life on the Silver Screen though introduced by Ram Gopal Varma. He receivedĀ Nandi AwardĀ for Chandamama as a comedian. He acted along with many lead actors. He also worked as assistant director to Krishna Vamsi for the film 'Gulabi'.
