Misha Collins (born Dmitri Tippens Krushnic on August 20, 1974) is an American actor, producer, director and New York Times Best-Selling author. He is best known for his role as the angel Castiel on the CW television series Supernatural and for his activism and philanthropy. He is the co-founder and board president of Random Acts, a non-profit organization, as well as the founder of GISH, The Greatest International Scavenger Hunt, known for their charity donations and Guinness World Records. His most recent projects include a poetry book titled 'Some Things I Still Can't Tell You', being the host and executive producer of the PBS show 'Roadfood: Discovering America One Dish at a Time', and the fiction podcast 'Bridgewater', where he is an executive producer and stars as Jeremy Bradshaw. He has been cast as Harvey Dent/Two-Face in the CW's upcoming DC show, Gotham Knights.
