Alejandro Fernández Almendras (born 1971) is a Chilean film director, screenwriter and editor. His style has been characterized by being very critical of Chilean and Latin American society, which is reflected in his films, where he often deals with issues such as injustices, social differences, the work of the lower classes and intimate personal dramas.
